As a compilation of photographs documenting the experience of motherhood around the globe, The Panamerican Health Organization (PAHO) published the coffee table book Best Practices and Photography from The Safe Motherhood Initiative in Latin America and the Caribbean gifted to diplomats and government officials. My design included the layout of hundreds of incoming images taken by real families, typographic treatments, and special sections. The design helped exposing disparities in income distribution and inequalities related to place of residence, ethnic groups, gender, and other factors.
