Through pro-bono work with the Taproot Foundation, we conceptualized and designed this annual report for the See Forever Foundation, the organization that manages the Maya Angelou Schools in Washington, DC. Working with other Taproot team members including project manager, writer, photographer, and traffic coordinator, we collaborated in development in this high-impact piece. The report not only showcased educational programs and data points but also served as a fundraising tool. The end result of this fully volunteer collaboration highlighted the positive impact that Maya Angelou Schools have had in the community through bold infographics and color palette. The design concept, which included original photography, a modern type face, and a square-shape format, conveys the organization’s essential support to the community while provoking a sense of urgency to support its meaningful work.
